Beyerdynamic DT231 Bluetooth mod

Bluetooth audio is something I've always wondered why isn't more popular, as the concept of no wires is - at least to me - very tempting. Unfortunately what is of bluetooth headphones out there suck, and are rather expensive. Hence i decided to make my own. I didn't want to ruin any headphones so instead I removed the cable from my Beyerdynamic Dt231 and put in a female 3.5mm jack, so I could still use wire if I wanted too. Then i ordered a $25 A2DP/AVRCP bluetooth reciever from DealExtreme. When it arrived, I custom made a cable for it and put it all together.

As for sound quality, there is still a long way to go. However, I'm very pleasantly surprised. There are some hickups and such using BT, maybe caused by low battery, but all in all the sound quality is very good. I would love to try something like the MSI $52 BT reciever, as for twice the price it should be better. That being said, the $25 one is amazing, and considering the price I think anyone with a A2DP/AVRCP device should run out and buy one instantly, as the price is amazing for such a device.
